Took some more and developed them! This was a super expired roll from 2006 from an Irish company called Spectra. I think the processing might have gone a bit haywire as there was far more grain than I expected. Here's some anyways!

Getting unreasonably excited over Ikea solutions... Anyone done anything with this? There's bulbs, motion sensors and plugs and looking for inspiration to justify it now!

The highlight of my day these days is an evening shower as hot as I can make it until there's so much steam I struggle to breathe

I'd love to see more serendipitous toots on my feed but as I'm self hosting I don't know how I can... I know there's big instances but they feel kind of closed off? Is there any way to get more content without going through the difficult task of manually searching out people with Mastodon accounts and following them?

So the first couple of days of Simple.css have been pretty successful. 😊

Why are companies allowed to disguise who they are to disguise themselves to people? Companies should be forced to trade under their registered names. It's incredibly annoying having to be some sort of sleuth to figure out if you're supporting a local business or an international corporation when you shop...

Something that perpetually annoys me is living wage vs minimum wage.

Why is it allowed to pay people less than they need to live??

I am so excited at this Google downtime.

Maybe this is it. Maybe someone has started the largest rm -fr command ever run

why drink monster energy when mistyping an `rm` command and nearly deleting everything is 10x more effective

I still haven't found a "good" (by my definition) self-hosted todo list solution. My requirements:

- Desktop (i.e. system tray) and Android clients
- Pomodoro/timer aspect
- Ability to tag/prioritize tasks
- Some form of commenting/adding detail to tasks
- Potentially option to share lists

It's a decent list of requirements but none are super weird so I'm surprised there's no options at all I can find.

May have no other choice than to try make it!

(2/2) Have people seen exercism.io before? Any thoughts about it? Anything I should recommend my partner instead to help them learn to code (or at least get a bit familiar with the concepts)

My partner was looking to start learning programming and after re-looking at for the first time in a few years, I realized that wasn't a great intro as the problems ramped up in difficulty too fast for someone fresh to coding.

I found out about exercism.io/ then and suggested it to them, and signed up also so I could look at the mentor side of things. It's nice, but kind of feels like you're doing someone else's work if that makes sense? (1/2)

What are people's thoughts/opinions on Bellingcat? Just heard of it for the first time today
