My partner was looking to start learning programming and after re-looking at #adventofcode for the first time in a few years, I realized that wasn't a great intro as the problems ramped up in difficulty too fast for someone fresh to coding.

I found out about https://exercism.io/ then and suggested it to them, and signed up also so I could look at the mentor side of things. It's nice, but kind of feels like you're doing someone else's work if that makes sense? (1/2)
